Since many years SGM S.r.l. is a leader company in the fields of structural diagnostics for civil engineering structures and infrastructures, and historical monumental buildings, being able to realize structural surveys and monitoring, inspections, data elaboration, release certificates of structural ability, laboratory and site tests on construction materials, structures and soils.
SGM S.r.l. is an authorized Laboratory by the Infrastructures and Transportation Minister according to the art. 59 of D.P.R. of 380/2001 sectors:

  • Constructions materials (Law n. 1086/71) with Decree n. 38194 of 14/01/1994 and following
  • Soils with Decree n. 54349 of 16/02/2006.

SGM S.r.l.is also Survey, Certification and Test Organism – Building Products Sector (Notification n. 1676) according to D.I. 156/03 — D.P.R. n. 246 of 21/04/1993.

According to its program for improving the quality of its services, SGM has recognized the necessity of demonstrating to its clients the level of quality reached in the execution of its services and assigned jobs, and consequently has posed on the company the target to operate with methodologies of Quality Assurance in order to maintain, record and put into practice a Quality System in accordance to the Company ethic, and in accordance to the best recognized international standards, and in particulars in reference to the European Code UNI EN ISO 9001 . Such Quality procedures system has been verified and has resulted conforming to the aforementioned European Code.

As a consequence of such methodology SGM is able to offer the best on-site and laboratory testing technologies to its clients, in order to provide a correct and detailed support for the design of systems for the recover and retrofitting of any type of structures, built with any possible technology and type of construction materials.

SGM’s activity has opened in the last years to other sectors contigous to the diagnosis, control and experimentation of structures and materials, and more precisely to the cataloguing and digitalization of the estates and furnishing patrimonies mainly, but not only, historical.
